Can I mention Squid Surge?

Imagine a no-Charger (and no-Roller for vertical flicks) scenario, where the only way to ink the walls reliably is to Squid Surge.

Thing is, it's not shown being done in the trailer, so I'm unsure if I can mention Squid Surge on the Fish Stick page as an alternative strategy.

I'm pretty sure you have to INK the pillar before you can squid surge. As far as I know, squid surge just makes you jump higher after climbing an inked wall. SplatonGamer (talk) 02:04, 11 February 2022 (UTC)

Alright. That makes sense. I'll refrain to mention Squid Surge on the main page (for now).

Though, after jumping into the inked wall, we don't know if the Squid Surge itself can traverse uninked walls, or (if yes) whether it inks them on its way.

Explosion destroys pillar?

I don't have definitive proof, but I am pretty sure that during Cohock Charge I saw one of my teammates completely destroy the pillar with a cannon shot. Can anyone back up what I saw, or was I mistaken? Kenderman123 (talk) 13:46, 13 September 2022 (UTC)

That just happens when you splat a Fish Stick fast before it can drill into the ground. -Gulliblepikmin

Late to the party, but yep, the Cannons given during Cohock Charge have a gigantic blast radius; aiming near the top of an incoming Fish Stick should splat all of the Smallfry holding it up, which is good if it was inbound for the basket. Equinnox (talk) 07:35, 10 October 2023 (UTC)

The above points are all correct. To clarify, there is no way to destroy a Fish Stick once it's planted in the ground, until the wave is over. Ballistik57 (talk) 07:37, 10 October 2023 (UTC)
