Description
Squee-Gs are small automated robots that clean ink. They glow yellow when absorbing ink, and appear blue when idle. Squee-Gs cannot be harmed by ink and function more as an obstacle than an enemy as they do not harm Inklings. They only move within a set area which makes predicting their behavior easy. Though they can be found on the ground, they are mostly commonly found clinging to walls in order to hinder an Inkling from swimming up them. Occasionally, they carry Power Eggs on their backs.
Appearances
- Squee-Gs were first introduced in the Octo Valley mission Lair of the Octoballs.
- Squee-Gs later appeared in Inkvisible Avenues, cleaning ink off a vertical platform.
Trivia
- The name "Squee-G" is a pun on "squeegee", a surface cleaning tool.
- The name "Suckerfish" stems from the robot's purpose of sucking up ink. There are quite a few actual fish nicknamed "Suckerfish".
