The Custom Dual, getting maybe a tad less use than the regular [[Dual Squelcher]], suffers from mediocrity. The main weapon is alright, having decent range and good fire rate for a long range shooter, but the weak shots make this weapon hard to kill with. This is especially true with the sub [[Squid Beakon]] and special [[Killer Wail]], each of which are more supportive for the team than anything. Because of this, the Custom Dual becomes a very one-sided weapon, with the only way to play it well is from a support standpoint, opposed to the [[Dual Squelcher]] which is much more versatile. Luckily, it is pretty good at doing support, and while it is certainly outclassed and very rarely used, it is somewhat viable in competitive play.

Sheldon's Introduction

The Custom Dual Squelcher is exactly what is sounds like—a Dual Squelcher with a custom look! What's new is the Squid Beakon, letting you lead your team, and the Killer Wail to pressure your foes!

I'd say it's perfect for master tacticians who can keep track of the entire field of battle.
