Overview

This is the Requests for Rename page. Archived requests can be found here. The rename policy is as follows:

Requirements

• The account can only be renamed once every six months.
• The account cannot have more than 10,000 edits.
• The user is not seeking the rename to conceal or obfuscate bad conduct.
• The new name is not already registered on the wiki.
• The new name is not too similar to another editor's username.
• The new name should not be inappropriate, at the discretion of an administrator.

Process

To file a new request or nomination, please fill out the following form and place it at the bottom of this page in the 'Current requests' section:

• Replace YourUsername with your current username, and YourNewName with your desired username.
• An admin will look through the request and either accept or decline it.
  • Declined requests will be given a reason.
• After a request is accepted, a Bureaucrat will have a final say and carry out the rename.
• Old requests are archived here.

• New Name: Olivia (talk | contribs | logs)
• Reason: I no longer use that name anywhere else

Randomnamehere

• Current Name: Randomnamehere (talk | contribs | rename)
• New Name: Random (talk | contribs | logs)
• Reason: My name is usually shortened to this anyway, and Random is a lot better than Randomnamehere in my own opinion, I like it more. I only use Randomnamehere on websites i'm not familiar with, so I think it would make more sense that now my name is corrected.

Krisbear

• Current Name: Krisbear (talk | contribs | rename)
• New Name: Kris (talk | contribs | logs)
• Reason: I no longer use krisbear as a username on other websites. Kris is shorter, and it's what I'm already known as on the discord, as well as being my in-game name.
