Splatfest
Splatfest is a special event that takes place in Splatoon.
Description
Splatfest is a recurring event hosted by the Squid Sisters, Callie and Marie. During this event, Inklings are able to choose a side between two teams, and participate in battles against the other team. Inklings are limited to two colors during the Splatfest, reflecting which side they're on. Inkopolis Plaza and all the stages are decorated to reflect the event, becoming nighttime and being adorned with festive lights.
Super Sea Snails are awarded to members of the winning team upon Splatfest's conclusion.
Reward Tiers
Super Sea Snails are awarded to participants based on the size of their team, won matches and ground covered. Popularity and matches won overall decide the winning team, while inked ground contributes an Splatfest EXP bonus to players. Members of the winning party have their reward doubled, for a maximum of 24 snails.

- Defender: 5 | 35 points
- Champion: 8 | 85 points
- King/Queen: 12 | 184 points
