== Ranked mode parameter necessity ==
Is the "ranked" parameter truly necessary? There are only 6 Ranked modes compared to the ~15 non-Ranked modes. Its inclusion seems like a remnant of Splatoon 1's days where the fewer amount of total modes made the infobox distinction possibly helpful. Now that Splatoon 3 with its majority non-Ranked modes has been released, it seems unnecessary to distinguish, and unhelpful to be present in these infoboxes. Whether or not a mode is Ranked can be clearly understood via the lead section of each mode's article. [[User:Yoshifan52|Yoshifan52]] ([[User talk:Yoshifan52|talk]]) 23:37, 5 April 2023 (UTC)

Add "Instructions"?

The template is locked, so I'm asking for an admin to add "Instructions" under "Ranked" here. This would be for the brief descriptions of how to play the mode that appear before a match starts. For mode categories (including Regular Battle and Ranked Battle), the brief descriptions appear in Inkopolis Tower (mode selection screen) before selecting a mode, underneath the category.

Examples of the brief descriptions:
