It can be purchased from Lua error in Module:Shop at line 47: attempt to index field '?' (a nil value). for File:1,600 Icon Cash.png.
Appearance
The Traditional Headband is a thick white headband in the style of hachimaki. It is made of rope or twisted cloth and is tied in a knot, the placement of which differs slightly based on the wearer's gender. If worn by a male, the knot is on the right side of the forehead, but if worn by a female, it is just behind the right ear.

The Traditional Headband comes with Lua error in Module:Ability at line 29: attempt to concatenate local 'linkText' (a nil value). as a main ability.
As a 2-star item, it also has two slots for secondary abilities. Since it is made by the [[File:Famitsu_Brand_{{{2}}}.png|24px|{{{2}}}|link=SquidForce]] [[{{{2}}}|{{{2}}}]] brand, all abilities have an equal chance of being rolled.
Trivia
- The Traditional Headband, File:Splatoon Gear Traditional Apron White Headband.png White Headband, and File:Splatoon Gear Traditional Sandals White Headband.png White Headband make up a unified design that was submitted to, and won, the "Ika Fashion Contest" held by Japanese magazine Famitsu. As the winner, it was made into gear for Splatoon.
- According to the original outfit design, only male Inklings were to wear the headband, with females wearing a paper hat.
