Weapons in the Splatoon series are very different compared to others. While some weapons are faster and deal less damage, others can be slow and deal a heavy amount of damage. Their kits also can change a weapon from being a slayer, to a supportive loadout. All weapons can still be used effectively in battle.

Shooters

Shooters are automatic and continuously shoot ink by holding ZR

Name Variants

Sploosh-o-matic
Sploosh-o-matic The weapon has a very lackluster kit. Curling Bombs are ineffective at pushing and Splashdown is unreliable.

Neo Sploosh-o-matic The weapon is slightly better than its vanilla variant. Squid Beakons are inefficient at pushing but do help on specific stages, and the cheap Tenta Missiles apply pressure to the other team.

Sploosh-o-matic 7 Considered the best variant of the three. The Splat Bomb helps poke at opponents and the Ultra Stamp helps with the Sploosh-o-matic 7's slayer role

Splattershot
Splattershot While not the best, the weapon is still versitile. Burst Bombs help with finishing off opponents, but Splashdown does not help the weapon much.

The Tentatek Splattershot is a weapon with a slayer kit. It has a Splat Bomb useful to poke with, and Inkjet to splat opponents.
