Prontagonists

Inklings, although being more "Squid Kid" than "Octokid", are the main characters in Splatoon (manga) and Splatoon (series). Octolings however are all "Octokid" and are enemies up until a point where playable Octolings appear. This point, known as The Second Splatoon, is for the Nintendo Switch.
