Duplicated image

Hi GX 64,

I've noticed you uploaded an image of the flipper-flopper, but this image already exists. I don't think there's any need to upload another separate image of the same thing. This is also for the fish stick. Thanks.

I wasn't sure what to do because the original is a png and mine is a jpg, so I didn't think it was possible to upload a new version. I wanted to upload new versions because the originals were cropped and were slightly dark.  GX_64 (talk)  03:34, 28 June 2022 (UTC)

No problem! It's quite fun working out how to do them efficiently. There are only about 300 files left, so hopefully I am able to finish them in a couple weeks. I am quite busy this week, so I have been doing less than usual, but I will be less busy next week. Then there are the normal pages to do, but I should be able to do those with a similar method. Don't worry about not knowing how to do some things! You have only been editing Inkipedia for a few weeks. It took me ages to work out how to do many things. I still sometimes find tables difficult. I recommend looking at the source for various pages, and keeping useful examples in a text document, and then copying and modifying things from there when necessary. Also, try doing complicated things, and then look at the preview (using "Show preview") and experiment until it is correct. I think this is the welcome template Template:Welcome. Do you mean a Thai or Welsh wiki, similar to the French and Spanish wikis, or why there is no Thai or Welsh in the Names in other languages tables? The latter is because the Splatoon games are not translated into either of those languages, and I don't think Nintendo has social media accounts either (like for Portuguese).  GX_64 (talk)  09:29, 10 January 2024 (UTC)

The Names in other languages tables are only for translating the text in other language's versions of the games into English, not translating from English to other languages.  GX_64 (talk)  09:44, 10 January 2024 (UTC)
