Deleting images

Congratulations on receiving patroller rights!

Congratulations on receiving patroller rights! You will now have:

• Exclamation points on the recent changes page, next to each un-reviewed edit.
• A [mark as reviewed] button on diff pages. Click it after you have reviewed an edit, so that other staff members know that all necessary review and action has been completed for that edit.
  • For more details, see Inkipedia's patrolling guide.
• A rollback button on the recent changes page. It instantly reverts multiple edits to a page. This should only be used for reverting vandalism and spam, because it doesn't have the option of leaving an edit summary.
  • You can add a confirmation prompt to this button (to prevent accidental clicks) at: Special:Preferences > Appearance > Show a confirmation prompt when clicking on a rollback link

You may add your details to the staff list.

If you have not already, join us in Discord, where you will get access to the staff channel. This is the best way to get help from admins and chat about ideas.

Proper use of rollback

I see that you have used rollback on the Drizzle Season 2023 article. However, as stated in my "congrats on patroller rights" message on your talk page, rollback should not be used to reverse good-faith edits in situations where an explanatory edit summary would normally be expected.

Rollback should only be used to revert spam and vandalism, as no edit summary is expected.

In a situation where you need to revert multiple good-faith edits, you should go to the history page, then click the timestamp of the last good revision, then press edit, then add an edit summary, then save; these steps will revert to the selected revision while allowing you to provide the expected edit summary, explaining why you are reverting the edits.

If you accidentally clicked the rollback button, there is a way to add a confirmation step by changing a user preference. Please let me know if you have any questions. Thank you for your efforts in patrolling and contributing to the wiki! Heddy (talk) 00:30, 19 August 2023 (UTC)

Hi there! I made some changes to the gallery section, so it has a heading and matches the type of gallery section we use on articles. You can add extra equal signs to make the heading size different if you'd like. Confusion on user page

I just recently created an Inkipedia account and when I visit other user pages I see all the photos, info, and just customization and I'm not sure how to do that. Do you have any tips? EruditeEllipsis (talk) 22:02, 16 January 2024 (UTC)

Hi there!!! If you click the source editor icon on my userpage, you can see all the code I used. At the bottom of the page it shows the templates used on the page, too. You can either copy code directly from the page and modify it on your userpage, or you can view the template pages and customize them from there. FancyRat 22:27, 16 January 2024 (UTC)

Don't worry! I also edit the wiki on my phone a lot. You really don't need to know much coding at all to do it. It's definitely a lot less complicated than it looks. For example, for the fan infoboxes, you can just visit the Template:Fan page and it will show you exactly what to put. Just copy and paste the syntax and replace "<The thing you like>" with one of the available options listed. FancyRat 01:54, 17 January 2024 (UTC)

Image Replacement Requests

Hiya, I'm Comfy. Nice to meet you. I've noticed that Dread D's 3D icon is of a lower quality than the rest of them. I've also noticed that you've uploaded some of the higher quality 3D weapon images & that your profile says to let you know if any images need upgrades. On that note, I was hoping you wouldn't mind replacing it with a higher quality version if you have the time to do so. Similar story for Splatoon 3's 2D special icons. Someone replaced the sub icons with better quality versions, but they didn't change the special icons for some reason, which very much bugs me because now the subs & specials are different colors.
