Stage quotes
Hi, thanks for your help in adding to the Spanish-language info here! Just a heads up - for stage quotes and anything similar, we do not separate language quotes by region. I'm pretty sure this started out as a way to compare quotes between the British and US English versions of the first Splatoon, but this applies to Spanish (and French) as well for all games. - I will keep that in mind for the next stages. Thanks for calling that into my attention, though, how should I write it when there is some kind of difference in the dialogue between regions? Medo Fantaasmas (talk) 02:54, 31 July 2021 (UTC)
- The letter in the quotes template allows you to specify whether a quote is from the Americas or from Europe.
- Here's an example from the Squid Sisters section of Moray Towers quotes page:
- |C2face=Shocked
- |M2face=Normal
- |C2A=Gah, it's so high!
- |M2A=Don't you think fighting so high up is kind of thrilling?
- |R2A=NOE
- |C2B=Don't look down... Don't look down...
- |M2B=NOOOOOOO WHYYYYY?! (I looked down.)
- |R2B=NOA
- |V2=1
- Normally, it's preferred that the European quotes are A and the American quotes are B; but in some pages, whoever added European quotes was not aware of this and added them the other way around. Also, there is a way to add a footnote directly under a quote (Notes1, Notes2, etc.), but if there are two regional quotes, you will need to specify which quote you are referring to since it only shows up under quote B.
