Signature policy warning

Hello Splatter maanz! Inkipedia's signature policy was recently updated and your current signature is not acceptable according to the policy. Delreq reverts

I noticed you inquired about reversions to your deletion requests for unused files. That was me! Most of the ones you had listed are likely to be used in the near future, were actually in use (files that are linked to do not show as used, you need to use WhatLinksHere to see), or it would need recaptured in a similar method. I did delete Bergen.jpg as that file had existed for several years and the people who were making Real Person pages have effectively all gone inactive—unlikely to see use, it was deleted. I tried to describe the reason why for each file in the revert summary (seen by clicking "History"). If you have other questions, feel free to ask. Also, if you're looking for a good starting point on what to do, we have a bunch of files that lack descriptions, where you just need to explain what the file contains with text. Thanks! Calm down amigo. Eminence has stated directly what your signature needs to contain:

• must link directly to your userpage/talk page — Right now, there are no links at all to your user page. Instead, you are embedding your user page as a response.
• must include your username — While the user page might have your name on it, what displays here on your response only shows the male user box. This is not actually displaying your name.

Furthermore, Oddlilgoof is not a mod. Mods...don't even exist here. I, an administrator, am here to help you a bit further. Oddlilgoof made a rough design for you to use, that can be found on the newly created following page: User:Splatter maanz/Sig. If you like this design and want to use it when responding, simply write {{User:Splatter maanz/Sig}} for your response. If you want to change the way this signature displays, make edits to the Signature page. The reason this signature is acceptable is because it a) shows your username clearly (Splatter maanz) and b) has a link to take people to your user page (User:Splatter maanz).

Your current method of "adding a signature" has generally only been transcluding (can be read as embedding) your user page instead of actually signing off. Hope this helps to clear things up. Trig - 18:46, 28 June 2023 (UTC)

Signature advice

Hey, I noticed that you're struggling with your signature. Right now, it seems to be pulling from your user page so it's just the userbox (which doesn't show your name and is too big so it's not allowed). For a signature, you need to put the contents of your signature on a seperate page in your userspace. For example, my sig can be found here User:Cackle/Sig.
