Too bright signature

Hello, your signature is quite hard to see when it's that bright on the default white background. I suggest maybe darkening the color a little bit or use a dark background to brace the brightness. Thank you for contributing to the Strategy pages! Here are some tips to help you become a strategy scribe:

• While being specific and detailed is nice, remember to be brief. For example, in the Weaknesses section of Infobox for Crab Tank's Strategy page, you can trim the phrase, "There is no part on the back of the tank to protect the player from being splatted" to, "Vulnerable at head and from behind during walker mode"
• Whenever possible, include sources, especially from top players and content creators. It can take some time, but advice that is backed up by top players and other experts at Splatoon 3 will be more credible. To get you started, here are some video sources pertaining to Crab Tank (click "edit source" above to copy the source text and understand how they are made):

About those categories

Sick work on categorizing files. I will say, though, that you may want to chill out on it solely because I plan to make some changes soon to the existing File template that will (hopefully) automatically categorize files for us. Two things

If you've captured the image yourself, use |source=self—not Splatoon 3. We know it comes from Splatoon 3 through the game and description parameters, but the source parameter is more asking the "who's responsible" part of the file: If you're the one who got the file, it should be attributed to you, not the game. I might actually write this out later at some point, but in the scheme of who what when where why and how, the game is the where, the description is the what/how/when, the type is also the what, and the who is the source. Shiver's surname

Hey, you re-added the recently removed surname information on Shiver's article; This surname was removed from that section because as of now, her surname is exclusive to Japanese Splatoon media, and subsequently the Japanese version of Splatoon 3. There's no confirmation that the English versions will list her surname as exactly "Hohojiro". As Inkipedia primarily reflects the NoA localizations, it would be incorrect to list another localization's surname for her anywhere but in the names in other languages section. This is in line with Pearl's page, who has a similar localization-exclusive surname situation. Going forward, please try to double-check if you're adding something that has been previously reverted. The page Template:SiteColor has what colors you can use for your Infobox!

For templates to use on your userpage, I recommend user boxes. The category for userboxes has a list of templates for specific user boxes. If you want to make your own user box, Template:Userbox has the code for how to make a user box.

If you want to help out the wiki, Inkipedia:Maintenance is a great page to look at! It tells you different things that need done to help improve the wiki.

I would also like to give you a heads up that you need to change your signature. Per Inkipedia's Signature Policy you must have part of your name in your signature so people can easily identify you. If you even want to change your user name, you can fill out and application to do so on Inkipedia:Requests for Rename.

Inkipedia:Policy/Signatures has a step-by-step way to make a signature. Your signature is ok on showing you name, but it needs to link to your userpage.

You would write the link like this:

[[User:Splatter maanz|$p!@tter m@@nz]]

There is not a list of grammatical errors, but there is a page for Broken File Links. I also forgot to mention, User talk:Trig Jegman/Project Clean-Up is also a great page to see what needs cleaned up!! I'm glad I could help you out :)

How do you add images to your signature? Also, what can I delete?

I noticed a lot of people have images next to their signatures. I assume they use templates, but a lot have custom images. How do I do that? Also, I tried to help by marking a few images that were not linked to anything. Every single change got reverted. Can you tell me why, and also supply me with a list of pages that can be marked for deletion? ----

Your edits probably got reverted because the image may be used or replaced in the near future. I would ask the person who reverted your edits about this. If you want to tell me what images you want on your signature, I'll be happy to help you make a signature :) Unused files is the closest page I could find to a list of files that need deleted. To see if an image can be used, check the file name and (if one is there) the description. Say a page is titled "Crust Bucket Side View.jpg". This image could go on the Crust Bucket page!

Are you talking about backgrounds like this?

If so just put

before the code for your signature on User:Splatter maanz/Sig. Make sure you put </span> after all the code for your signature. This way the background will stop at the end of your signature. It came out as a red link because you wrote {{UserBox at the top instead of {{Userbox

  hello, I have another question about user boxes, from what I noticed is on most user pages, when you stack user boxes in a 3x3 way after the third row there becomes a big space, is there a reason this happens? and is there a way to fix it? or another way to stack them? Howdy!! I'm not sure why the userboxes have spaces between them. This happens to me too. As for the barnsquid section, you need to put {{clr}} before the heading so it is displayed under the boxes. The code would look like this:

There is a way to move a page! When looking at the top bars on a page, you should see one that says more with an arrow pointing down. If you click this it will show the link to move a page.
