Low quality images

I have a suggestion if you are using a capture card.

For Splatoon 1 specifically, it's best to set the Wii U output resolution and the capture card's resolution to 720p.

This is because the game's native resolution is 720p, and capturing the native resolution always produces the best image!

1080p captures work great for Splatoon 2 because Splatoon 2 is a 1080p game.

But for Splatoon 1 a 1080p capture is actually just 720p stretched to fit a 1080p image, because Splatoon is a 720p game.

Are you replacing existing gifs/mp4s or making entirely new videos? For long videos, it's best to use Youtube. Heddy (talk) 00:04, 26 April 2022 (UTC)
