Competitive Viability
The Custom Jet, being the best squelcher overall, has sadly not seen a very large amount of use in competitive play. The main weapon has the longest range out of any shooter in the game, but it has an incredibly low fire rate, weak shots, and ultimately poor turfing ability. Luckily, the Burst Bomb sub can help slightly with just about all of these, and the Kraken special rounds out a nice set. Unfortunately, the weak ability to kill and even weaker ability to turf set back the weapon enough making it an inferior selection to a few other long range shooters such as the Berry Splattershot Pro. It is still a decent weapon though, certainly a viable weapon which gets occasional use in competitive play.
