Legwear is a type of default attire in Splatoon and full clothing items in Splatoon 2 worn by Inklings and Octolings.
Splatoon
In Splatoon, legwear only appears as shorts and are not changeable, always appearing as plain black, with a stripe of the wearer's ink color on either side. The male Inklings' shorts are slightly longer than the females' and go down to their knees. They have no other role in the game.
The only gear that does not show the standard shorts are:
