Murch (Japanese: スパイキーSupaikī) is a character in Splatoon 2.
Appearance
Murch is a sea urchin.
Description
Similar to Spyke in Splatoon, Murch offer services that tweak abilities on gear. The service he offers is called gear scrubbing. Gear scrubbing wipes a gear item clean of its filled sub ability slots, turning it back to an item with no slots filled. However, all abilities removed in this manner are turned in collectibles called "ability chunks". When enough of the same kind of ability chunks are collected, they can be converted back into the corresponding ability and be put freely into an empty gear slot on any gear.
