Template:InfoboxMode Salmon Run Next Wave is a co-op multiplayer mode in Splatoon 3 for up to four players. It is a sequel to Salmon Run and was revealed on 9 February 2022.

Salmon Run Next Wave was revealed on 9 February 2022. The rules presumably do not change, and all the previous normal Boss Salmonids return, as well as some new ones. A new feature, Egg Throw, has been added. Players can throw held Golden Eggs to other teammates to help put it in the basket. Additionally, any Golden Eggs thrown at the Egg Basket will be inserted automatically. Players can also use "squid rolls" seen in previous trailers. The main antagonist seems to be a giant Salmonid similar to a Cohock, but much larger and having white eyes and wearing a metal chain on its neck.
