:It's very much confirmed. In Splatoon 2, Pearl has a dialouge line when introducing the Shellendorf Institute that says "I went digging in my backyard earlier today, and I found some old bones!" That, along with the evidence that Anemoia added confirms that bones are very much real and recognized in the Splatoon franchise, even if the characters themselves do not have them. All it would have taken you to verify that it's real was simply looking at the page and the large variety of images and links to official sources announcing the Splatfest. I don't see why this needed to be made a topic of discussion Driftin Soul (talk) 20:03, 13 October 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
i dont have social media sorry, i work solely off of these types of things. :( MochiMochi (talk) 20:08, 13 October 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

"Special" Splatfest?

What makes this and the previous Splatfest "special"? I think this part of the article really needs to be elaborated on, especially since there is no reasoning whatsoever. dedf1sh07[talk] 19:37, 14 October 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I'm assuming that it's because this Splatfest:
Will include special gear being distributed through Nintendo Switch News
Will have a uniquely decorated Splatsville/Inkopolis Plaza, as well as a full moon in the sky
Will have Deep Cut wearing unique outfits
Is also called Splatoween, which is the same as two special Splatfests that happened in Splatoon 2
The previous Splatfest had special confetti effects at the start of a match and special victory/defeat themes and banners.

What makes a special Splatfest special is when the game is modified in a slightly different way than the norm, it could be as minor as Tsubuan vs. Koshian/Retro vs. Modern, where a moon was added in the distance or as large as Chaos vs. Order. Therefore, this Splatfest is special. User:Randomnamehere/Sig 19:18, 17 October 2023 (UTC)

Special performance

can someone when the splatfest is happening take a video of Anarchy Rainbow with deep cut in their new outfits and Tomorrow's Nostalgia with the squid sisters and maybe even City of Color and poot it on here please Bobble hat (talk) 15:28, 17 October 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Skeletons = Bones?

Should it be mentioned how squids don't have bones? A skeleton is composed of bones, so how would they know about skeletons? Cohozilla (talk) 13:35, 26 October 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

There are remains of humans or other species in canon. Examples include the 26th Sunken Scroll from the first game, which features a fossil of a human playing the Wii U, or the orca skeleton hanging from the ceiling in Shellendorf Institute.
