Tower Records is a retail music chain. It has collaborated with Splatoon and Splatoon 2. Three special collaborations were held in 2016, 2017, and 2018. These included exclusive Splatoon-themed products, such as shirts, pins, and stickers.

Splatoon × TOWER RECORDS

Tower Records sold exclusive Splatoon merchandise during their special collaboration 2016 Summer Sale. It was held from June 24 to July 24. Visitors were able to enter a lottery through scratch cards handed out in the store. Prices included a backpack and water bottle, with only 50 and 1,500 made respectively.[1] Splatoon Live in Makuhari -シオカライブ- and a special version of Splatune also went on sale on July 13.[2]

Splatoon 2 × TOWER RECORDS

Tower Records collaborated with Splatoon 2 twice, once in 2017 and a second time in 2018. The sale in 2017 was held from June 23 to July 30. On July 12, 2017, an EP by Wet Floor Shibuya released. It contained three songs and a special studio performance version of Inkoming!.[3] The 2018 collaboration included an art exhibition at SpaceHACHIKAI, on the 8th floor of the Shibuya store. It featured concept art and information on development for Splatoon, Splatoon 2, and Octo Expansion.[4][5] The exhibition ran from July 13 to August 5. A double-sided fan and A2 poster were given out to those who visited.[6] The Record Shop Look EP gear was released July 1 as part of the 2018 collaboration.
