hey Jacoberth. thanks for the little change of my wording on the new Splattershot Nova competitive page. Splattershot Nova and Splattershot Pro have very very similar ranges so I changed the word "less range" to "less accuracy" as Pro is more accurate than it. yw! S Rank???

Hi, Jacobearth! I need some tips... to become the fabled S rank! As of now I am B rank(almost B+!), but all the points I can manage in a series is, like, 85. Given that I need 70 to start a series, it's very slow going... I'm especially bad at Clam Blitz, Splat Zones is my specialty. All in all, can I get some tips? Thanks! Ink Me Up! Wow… I’ve never heard about S rank as “fabled”, but I’ll take that as a compliment! For tips, the weapons you use are perfectly fine in the current meta, so you don’t have to change those. The gear you’ve chosen for the weapons is… questionable, but alright in my eyes (I rather like your hero shot replica gear!). As for play style tips, when you’re using the Forge Pro, make sure you ink the ground a lot so you can use a lot of booyah bombs (which are VERY good). For the inkbrush, make sure you utilize the rolling mode so that you can close the gap between you and your opponents! And finally, for the Hero shot, the Trizooka is a very unreliable special, but can be very good if you use it correctly! Do NOT use it as a panic button, instead, use it to splat far away enemies! Use it only when you feel confident that you can splat someone. Hope this helps! Jacobearth • chit-chat 18:16, 21 December 2022 (UTC)

Uh, sorry to butt in, but just letting ya know, regarding Booyah bombs, don't use those as a panic button either, as you could still have the armor from the Booyah Bomb broken, especially if you're surrounded. It's happened to me before, so I just wanted to share! And it's easier to fire a Booyah Bomb if you don't have your view blocked. And don't use them on someone directly below you. Thanks! Few more questions, though. What does gear have to do with battling besides abilities(btw, I have sub defense as my main for a hat, with ninja squid for clothing, and stealth jump for shoes)? I also never use my other fits for battle, I always use my main fit. I also am using the Tentek Splattershot more, because a) the fire rate is better and b) it has a better special in my opinion because I feel I have more mobility with it and I can use it three times over the one Booyah Bomb(yes, Booyah Bomb is bigger, but aren't the Inkstrikes kind of like mini-Booyah Bombs?). Abilities are really the only thing that matters for gear. Also, for the Ttek, you should consider using Special Power Up, Intensify Action Up, Run Speed Up, Sub Power Up, and Ink Saver (Sub). Jacobearth • chit-chat 19:38, 21 December 2022 (UTC)
