Version 4.0.1 is an update to Splatoon 3 that released on 2 June 2023 at 06:00 UTC.[1] This update fixed two bugs introduced in Version 4.0.0.

  • Fixed an issue where jumping with the Button and holding down the Button while landing would cause rapid-fire shots to have a greater range than intended when using a Squeezer.
  • Fixed an issue when opening or closing brellas where the targeting reticle did not always reflect the change.
