Redirects

Hi, I just want to inform you that even if a redirect appears unused (such as in Special:WhatLinksHere), it may still be useful in order to populate the search suggestions. This was the case for Mr grizz, which you marked for deletion and someone else unmarked because "Mr grizz" is frequently typed into search. Let me know if you have any questions. Ok, that makes sense, I will keep that in mind whenever I see a redirect page, and I'll make sure not to do it again. Brycerw11 (talk) 22:46, 22 November 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Sources for screenshots

Hi, I noticed that some time ago you uploaded a bunch of screenshots of Alterna locations. These are great, but small heads up: the game doesn't go in the source parameter. It's quite confusing, so I don't blame you for not knowing this, but the source when it comes to screenshots taken by players typically refers to the person that took the screenshots. If you took the screenshots yourself, you would use source=self. If you need any more help with the file template, this guide is really handy.

Now for your old uploads, I'm more than happy to help you update the sources, but first I'll need to confirm who took the screenshots. Did you capture all of the screenshots you've uploaded, or are some of them from somewhere else? Thank you! Cackle Cackle Team Aliens head icon.png (talk) 21:37, 20 August 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]

I didn't know this, so thanks for telling me. Also, thanks for the guide on the file template. Now about the screenshots, I was, in fact, the person who captured the screenshots in which I uploaded. Also, I would greatly appreciate your help in fixing the sources. Thanks, Brycerw11 (talk) 22:02, 20 August 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
No problem, and thank you for the info! Cackle Cackle Team Aliens head icon.png (talk) 22:06, 20 August 2023 (UTC)Reply[reply]
