About signatures

Hey, I noticed you've been signing your comments using Template:Unsigned. I just want to let you know that you don't need to do so; you can sign any of your messages by just entering '~~~~' at the end (it will automatically convert to your signature). The unsigned template is for occasions when an editor may forget to sign their own message, and someone else will insert the template for them. Thank you! Jackpot

Thanks for uploading all that information about Jackpot; it really helps us out covering the competitive scene. While Jackpot might not be a future incarnation of Sayonara, would it be fair to mention in Jackpot's history that former members of Sayonara formed Jackpot?

DaDoc540 (talk) 13:37, 24 April 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Hi there, no problem, I'm glad to help! I talked with Jackpot's captain, Madness, via discord, and I've reached to the conclusion that there has been a misunderstanding on the Inkipedia about the Sayonara and Jackpot teams.
Madness had told me that "we never originated from Sayonara, we just happened to have a similar roster as that team" and also pointed out that "There were two 2023 NA championship LANs technically but only one of them qualified you for worlds. Sayonara was in the first one and Jackpot was in the second one (the one that qual'ed for worlds)". Note that I haven't contrasted this info.
Meanwhile on the article Splatoon 3 North American Championship 2023 we just listed the LAN in which Sayonara participated, which is probably what originated the idea that Jackpot was a reformation of Sayonara, which isn't true.
What I think we should do is keep both teams separate as they are different teams, and add the LAN in which Jackpot participated on the Splatoon 3 North American Championship 2023 page. It's moon [Talk!] 14:12, 24 April 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Tbh for now I'm still a bit confused. It's moon [Talk!] 21:09, 24 April 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Nevermind, I realized we had an article already for the second LAN in Splatoon 3 Championship 2023. I would still keep the two tournaments and teams separate to avoid confusion. It's moon [Talk!] 10:32, 25 April 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Alright so I think it's fine to point out where the members came from on the Competitive:Jackpot page.
Feel free to edit it youself. I'll be afk for some days as I need to take care of other things irl. It's moon [Talk!] 10:53, 25 April 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
This video uploaded a year ago by Toyoben, a competitive player from Germany and content creator, should provide more information about Jackpot, including its founding date and origin of its name.

Your signature

Hi there! Your signature looks extra fresh. Not trying to be rude or take the place of a moderator (or certain administrators will come after me) but I couldn't help but notice it says It's moon (because that's the only thing on there). If I remember, I'm pretty sure there was a rule that said your signature has to be your username or something close, can't remember. I think it'd be best to check guidelines just in case. You never know. Lastly, Stay Fresh! NewSquidbeakSplatoon (talk) 17:25, 15 May 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Hi there, I know that the INK:SIG policy says "User signatures are required to display the name of the user or approximation or derivation thereof."... Now, is "name of the user" the same as "username"? Anyways I just changed it just in case It's moon [Talk!] 17:37, 15 May 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Nevermind, an administrator on Discord approved the use of this signature after I requested it It's moon [Talk!] 18:12, 15 May 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Also, looks like something is wrong with the signature padding It's moon [Talk!] 17:38, 15 May 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Testing... alright fixed It's moon [Talk!] 17:46, 15 May 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Signature

Hey, staff has taken it upon themselves to discuss the topic in more detail and have decided that your current signature is in fact in violation of policy. The approving administrator only gave vague approval of two options you had proposed (one of which was in breach of policy, and one of which was not).

Accordingly, I would ask that you please either change your signature to include your wiki username (whether that is the entire signature or just a parenthetical or similar is up to you), or you can alternatively file a Request for Rename if that seems preferable to you. Thank you! Driftin Soul [Talk!] 00:47, 20 June 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Userpage

Hey, I noticed that your userpage is a bit busted atm & it looks like you were struggling trying to fix it. Could I ask what you were trying to do with it? I'm not the best with CSS, but I'd be more than happy to try and help you get it working Cackle (talk) 09:28, 27 June 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Hi, I did that to reflect on how I was feeling at that moment, thank you tho I'll maybe fix that when I feel better, ty for trying to help. I'll also be offline a few days I think It's moon [Talk!] 11:09, 27 June 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]

You 100% Make a good patroller

Have you ever consider yourself a Patroller because if you where to Apply for Patroller i would definitely Say yes to it. Sunmouse (talk) 18:02, 18 July 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Hi! Thank you!!
Yes, I was considering applying for Patroller, but first I was waiting for a user rename request that was supposed to be voted in here to be decided, since I'm not too sure that I'll have permission to change my username after becoming a Patroller.
However this helps me so much gaining confidence. Thank you so much!! :D It's moon [Talk!] 18:17, 18 July 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Unusual redirect

Hi, you created the redirect page "Usuario:It's moon". This is highly unusual and has been deleted. I'm not entirely sure what the purpose of that was, but assuming it's for interwiki purposes, I have added the correct interwiki links to your user pages. So, the link to ES wiki will now show in the sidebar for convenient navigation (if not sidebar, then wherever your current skin shows links to other language versions of the current page). Please ask if you have any questions. Heddy (talk) 22:08, 11 September 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Hi! Awesome, I didn't know you could do that!! :0 Thank you so much, and again, my most sincere apology for creating that redirect on mainspace It's moon [Talk!] 22:27, 11 September 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
