Rollers are a main weapon classification in Splatoon. The roller has a wide range in painting capability, being able to cover large areas near the player. It is an ideal weapon for Inking on the go, and also has a short-ranged Ink-flinging attack.
List of Rollers
There are currently four known types of Roller:
- Splat Roller - the base roller in Splatoon. It allows for medium speed and wide turf coverage, with a small Ink-flinging attack.
- Krak-On Splat Roller - a medium roller with good Ink-flinging coverage. Its main difference from the Splat Roller is the Kraken ability.
- Dynamo Roller - a slower, more powerful roller. It makes up for its slower speed with a more powerful Ink-flinging attack and wider turf coverage.
- Inkbrush - a far faster roller. It moves exceptionally quick, but has a thinner coverage. Instead of flinging Ink, the Inkbrush swipes repeatedly, covering areas in thinner, horizontal stripes of Ink.
