In the stations with an orb a life bar is on the top of the screen indicating the orb's current health. As enemies attack the orb, its health decreases, it gradually becomes covered in their ink color, and it starts to spark. When it is hit it makes noise. Firing at it with [[Agent 8]]'s weapons or [[Ink Cannon]]s slowly refills its health. Orb missions require Agent 8 to defend the orb from enemy attacks for a set amount of time, and the mission is failed if either Agent 8 or the orb run out of health. Orbs are objects in the Octo Expansion. It is a sphere on a pole, covered in Agent 8's ink with a metal band across its equator.
Gameplay
In the stations with an orb a life bar is on the top of the screen indicating the orb's current health. As enemies attack the orb, its health decreases, it gradually becomes covered in their ink color, and it starts to spark. When it is hit it makes noise.
