The turnstyle is a mechanic in the Octo Expansion.

Description

The turnstyle is a form of gate which allows one applicant to pass at a time. A turnstyle is configured to enforce one-way applicant traffic. In addition, a turnstyle can restrict passage only to applicants who pay the test fee of CQ Points with the CQ-80 device.

Etymology

• Turnstyle is a portmanteau of 'wikipedia:turnstile' and 'style'.
