Template pages

Hi Florescent; although we appreciate your attempts to improve the wiki, it would probably be best for you to hold off attempting to modify or create mainspace templates for the moment, as you seem to be a relatively new user. As it is, the edits you have been making to templates have left them very difficult to understand, sloppy-looking, or even dysfunctional.

Please consider making other more minor edits as part of studying wikicode in a bit more detail, or possibly even experimenting using a sandbox, before you return to template creation. Thank you! Driftin Soul (talk) 10:36, 28 January 2024 (UTC)

Once you feel you are more ready to attempt making templates, I would also recommend that you start by suggesting any template ideas you have either in Ink Pump or in our Discord server, as they can be rather wide-reaching in scope and it can be good to consult other editors on whether a given template may be helpful before going through with creating it.
