Recent edit summary error

What I ment to say in my recent edit summary is that the new Agent 3 could also be an Octoling, due to them being playable now. Just clearing up my mistake! P.J. GT (talk) 03:08, 25 September 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Gender

Should Neo Agent 3 have a strict 'Male/Female' section? In Splatoon 3, Inklings/Octolings choose between styles instead. Maybe instead it should just be 'Any'? Thank you to anyone who replies; Mechanic (talk) 01:29, 10 November 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Honestly, I think you could go either way. The "styles" look to be male/female and there is only two, so I think "Either" would work. 𝕎𝕠𝕠𝕞𝕪𝔾𝕚𝕣𝕝𝟠𝟝<コ:彡 (talk) 12:58, 10 November 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Just thought of something; replace the "Gender: Either" to "Style: Either" due to 'Style' being what the game itself calls it. ~~~~ Mechanic (talk) 05:36, 12 November 2021 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Trivia Section

When Splatoon 3 Releases, should we add a trivia page at the bottom?Randomguy (talk)

We probably should. Surprised no one has done it yet. I would, but I don't think I know enough to do that yet. I will eventually after I've grinded a little more on the Story Mode, as long as no one else still hasn't edited their wiki page. Thanks for the suggestion though! ArivakiVA (talk)

Splatoon Manga

In chapter 66, it shows that the new Agent 3 would be a shy inkling girl with braids named Mitsuami-chan or Braids. Retrobot (talk) 11:44, 4 October 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

As far as I know, the manga 17 volume isn't even released yet, and the name is not official as it was created by the author, not Nintendo. Braids is not Agent 3's official name. OrderSquid38 New Squid.jpg OrderSquid38 [Talk] 12:02, 4 October 2022 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Can we count this?

In a search for images of male Agent 3, I stumbled upon this (image linked below), and was shocked it was not in the gallery for Agent 3. Unless if this isn't counted as being an image of 'agents' File:S3Summer2021Artwork.jpg

I would call it questionable at best
Two of the designs do match neo 3 designs, but they're not in hero gear or depicted with any characters that would strongly imply their role as agents (members of the New Squidbeak Splatoon, Deep Cut, heck, Smallfry's not even there). I vote no on inclusion, personally. Driftin Soul (talk) 22:25, 15 January 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Fair, although, correct me if I'm wrong, but isn't there usually an assumption that a character is an agent in 'casual clothes' if seen outside of their agent outfit?

Splatoon 2 1st Anniversary.jpg
What Judith said, with some specifics. Artwork is considered "Agent" artwork if either 1) the character is seen in Hero Gear (OR in a Hero Mode location) or 2) the character is depicted alongside NPCs who are involved in Agent hijinks.
A good example of Agent artwork in a casual context would be the file I attached to this message. Agents 3, 4 and 8 can be seen. They do not look like Agents, but their identities are made obvious by the presence of the Squidbeak members as well as Off the Hook.
Hope this is helpful! Anemoia Anemoia Sig.png [Talk!] 22:42, 15 January 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Alright, that makes more sense. Thanks for clarifying!
