Template:Infobox gear The Black Tee is clothing in Splatoon and Splatoon 2. It is produced by the SquidForce brand, comes with the main ability Special Duration Up, and has a 1-star rarity.

It can be purchased from Jelly Fresh and Ye Olde Cloth Shoppe for 400 cash.

Appearance

The Black Tee is a black short-sleeved shirt. On the front are some large Inkling letters printed in white, and at the bottom is a tiny purple tag with the SquidForce logo in white. On the lower back is more white Inkling text, but much smaller than that on the front.

It is the black version of the White Tee.

Abilities

The Black Tee comes with Special Duration Up as a main ability in Splatoon. In Splatoon 2, the main ability is replaced with Special Power Up. As a 1-star item, it also has one slot for a secondary ability. Since it is made by the SquidForce brand, it has a higher chance of rolling Damage Up and a lower chance of rolling Ink Saver (Main).

Trivia

• The Black Tee is the cheapest purchasable piece of gear with Special Duration Up.
• The symbols on the shirt loosely resemble the Japanese word for "squid" (いか).
