Inkopolis News is a live television event hosted by the Squid Sisters, Callie and Marie. Each time players start Splatoon and every four hours thereafter, Inkopolis News is shown. It provides information regarding upcoming Splatfests, updates, single-player progress, and the current Regular Battle and Ranked Battle stages.
Segments
Stage News
Stage News is a segment shown at a four-hour interval and every time players begin playing Splatoon. It is used to announce the current Regular and Ranked Battle stages. If a player is occupied when Stage News should be shown, it will appear once they finish that activity. For example, if someone is playing Turf War when the stages are rotated, Stage News will be shown once they complete their current match.
