Splatoon 2 Special Demo 2020
The Splatoon 2 Special Demo 2020 is a free Splatoon 2 demo available on the Nintendo eShop, and the successor to the Splatoon 2 Special Demo. Similar to previous Splatoon 2 demos, it allows players to engage in free four-on-four Turf War with other players who own the full game, with additions of Salmon Run and Ranked Battle, at scheduled times. Players who download the demo will receive a seven-day free trial for Nintendo Switch Online. The demo will be playable between 30 April 2020 at 06:00 UTC and 6 May 2020 at 13:59 UTC. In addition, the Splatoon 2 game will be available at a discounted price on Nintendo eShop during the duration of the Special Demo 2020.[1][2]
Description
This demo is identical to the full game, barring access to single-player modes and The Shoal. Entering these modes will prompt the player to purchase the full game from the Nintendo eShop. Players can access full game features like the Galleria to purchase clothing and weapons. Progress from the Special Demo 2020 can be transferred to the full game.
