It can be purchased from Lua error in Module:Shop at line 47: attempt to index field '?' (a nil value). for File:2,000 Icon Cash.png.
Appearance
The Traditional Apron is a white shirt with a thick, black hem covered in an apron that changes to match the wearer's current ink color. The apron is decorated with a large Inkling letter, and is tied at the waist. The [[File:Famitsu_Brand_{{{2}}}.png|24px|{{{2}}}|link=SquidForce]] [[{{{2}}}|{{{2}}}]] logo is embroidered on the shirt's chest. The apron covers most of the wearer's shorts when viewed from the front.

The Traditional Apron comes with Lua error in Module:Ability at line 29: attempt to concatenate local 'linkText' (a nil value). as a main ability.
As a 2-star item, it also has two slots for secondary abilities. Since it is made by the [[File:Famitsu_Brand_{{{2}}}.png|24px|{{{2}}}|link=SquidForce]] [[{{{2}}}|{{{2}}}]] brand, all abilities have an equal chance of being rolled.
Trivia
- The Traditional Apron, File:Splatoon Gear Traditional Sandals White Headband.png White Headband, and File:Splatoon Gear Traditional Headband White Headband.png White Headband make up a unified design that was submitted to, and won, the "Ika Fashion Contest" held by Japanese magazine Famitsu. As the winner, it was made into gear for Splatoon.
- The apron's knot is shaped like a squid.
- The symbols on the apron resemble the Japanese words for "Eight" (八) and "Octopus" (タコ) .
