Minor Edits

Hello! I was looking through the recent edits, and I noticed in an edit summary of yours that stated the following:
I would also like to ask what counts as a 'Minor Edit'? I do not want to accidentally mislabel and edit. Thanks!

To answer your question, minor edits are modifications to articles that will not significantly change the details of an article, such as fixing typos or adjusting wording. Typically, most edits are considered "minor," but if you feel that your edit was significant, feel free to not mark it as a minor edit.

Ok, thanks for the clarification. I'm guessing this means that adding sections, editing tables, basically anything that 'adds new information' counts as a major edit? TheYoshiGang (talk) 19:17, 9 January 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Just to further clarify what minor edits really mean from a backend perspective: there's not really any specific hard line differentiating them from "normal" edits. They do have the option of being hidden from the 'recent changes' list if one sets their preferences to do so, but otherwise feel free to simply use your best judgment as to what is or isn't minor. We don't have any policy delineating how they should be used, so don't worry too much about getting it wrong! Driftin Soul (talk) 19:17, 9 January 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Ok, just as long as it doesn't matter too much and I won't get into much trouble if I mislabel it, that was what I was most worried about. Thank you! TheYoshiGang (talk) 19:53, 9 January 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]

Good job!

I noticed you've been working hard on the strategy pages, and you're doing great! Tbh, I kinda forgot, using all my focus here trying to start a competitive team. I'm trying to make a page that gives a description on what we're trying to do, but it's just a draft rn. When finished, it'll let everyone know that we need help, what they can do, and how long we have. We now have a specific date for the end of Splatoon, being April 8th and not just April. (Nah but imagine on April 1st they just say APRIL FOOOLS and it's a joke lol I would actually be laughing my head off) Here's the link for said page, if you wanna help me work on it, because you seem to be going full steam ahead on this project, you work on it more than me lol. When we finish, I'll have @Trig Jegman add it to the notification board. Stay Fresh! (It is physically impossible for you to get any more fresh than you currently are without risking the lives of everything in the known universe.) Thanks for you kind words, I'm hopefully going to have created all the strategy pages by the time Side Order release, because I probably won't use Inkipedia until I 100% it to avoid Spoilers. I would like to see that page, I think you may have forgotten the link to it? But good luck with that competitive team! Bye! TheYoshiGang (talk) 19:05, 8 February 2024 (UTC)Reply[reply]
Aw thx!!! The link got changed, so it won't appear. I get your reasoning for not hopping on till 100 percent, I did so for story mode when I was getting the game. Stay Fresh! Also when i said comp team I really meant me and 3 other friends playing Splatoon each weekend lol.
