I am someone who is very passionate about Splatoon, and I want to improve Inkipedia a lot.

About me

I first discovered Splatoon in March 2023, when I got the game for my birthday. Ever since then, my love for Splatoon has grown by a large margin.

My history with Splatoon

I was vaguely aware of Splatoon 1 and 2 around the time they came out, with a few YouTubers that I watched at the time like Nathaniel Bandy and GameChamp3000 making videos on them, but besides that I never was that interested in the game. I also only somewhat knew that Splatoon 3 was coming out in September 2022, and I didn't really care that much. But, in March 2023I was given some birthday money to spend and I saw Splatoon 3 and I decided to get it.

What I like and dislike about Splatoon

Likes:
  1. Splatoon 3 is my favourite game in the series, with Return of the Mammalians being my favourite Hero Mode
  2. Octo Valley is also a really good hero mode.
  3. basically every platforming stage and "defeat enemies" stage in Octo Expansion is really fun.
  4. My favourite weapon is Bloblobber, my favourite sub weapon is Fizzy Bomb and Torpedo, and my favourite special is Super Chump.
  5. Harmony is the best Splatoon Character.
  6. My favourite band in the entire series is Hightide Era
  7. My favourite song is Slopping Spree
Dislikes
  1. Octo Canyon was very tedious.
  2. Octo Expansion was really good for the most part, but Girl Power Station and Inner Agent 3 are my two least favourite Splatoon missions.
  3. Off the Hook is my least favourite band.
  4. My least favourite song is Into the Light.

What I plan to do to help Inkipedia

1. Constant improvements.

I am lucky in the fact that I am quiet adept with writing skills, so I can write walkthrough guides really well. I also have a Capture Card, so I can record footage if needed, mainly for StrategyWiki, because they need gameplay footage for a lot of Splatoon stages. I am not, however, someone who speaks other languages or understands music theory (the former making up most of the 'stubs' section) so I cannot help with any of that.

2. Images

I quite enjoy getting images for stages, mainly the Hero Mode stages, so I have done that a good few times.

3. StrategyWiki and beyond Inkipedia

As pointed out by NewSquidbeakSplatoon, Strategy Wiki has only (at the time of writing this) three pages completed for Return of the Mammalians, so I would enjoy writing those, though I will mainly focus on Inkipedia. Currently I ama part of the prjoect to fix single player articles, which I am attempting to do so. More information about this can be found here.

4. Splatoon 1 and it's competitive weapon guides

Another thing pointed out by NewSquidbeakSplatoon is that, with Splatoon 1 serves closing down in April, there will be many weapons that will be permanently incomplete, so I feel that is a very big priority.
