Samurai Helmet

Template:Infobox gear The Samurai Helmet is a type of headgear in Splatoon. It is a 2-star item produced by the amiibo brand and comes with the main ability Damage Up.

This item cannot be purchased. Instead, it can only be obtained by completing the first row of the Inkling Boy amiibo's challenges.

Appearance

The Samurai Helmet is a large helmet that is wider than the wearer's shoulders, in the style of kabuto. It has a shiny gold crest on the front in the shape of a stylized squid and a thick cord tied in a bow at the chin. It also has two large, curved, wing-like shapes, one on both sides of the head. The cord as well as the back and sides of the helmet change color to match that of the wearer's ink.

Because of its unusually large size, the Samurai Helmet often clips with the wearer's body and/or surroundings.

Abilities

The Samurai Helmet comes with Damage Up as a main ability. As a 2-star item, it also has two slots for secondary abilities. Since the amiibo brand does not change the likelihood of any secondary abilities, they all have an equal chance.

Unlock

The Samurai Helmet is awarded after completing the first set of missions from the Inkling Boy amiibo:

• 2. Lair of the Octoballs — Splat Your Way to the Top!
• 3. Rise of the Octocopters — Leap to Victory!
• Boss 1: Squish, Squash, Smash... The Mighty Octostomp!
