The Sprinkler of Doom is a feature of Tricolor Turf War battles in Splatoon 3.

Description

The Sprinkler of Doom is a device that functions similar to a large Sprinkler. It only appears in the latter half of Splatfests in Splatoon 3 when a team successfully activates the Ultra Signal. When the signal is activated, Deep Cut will send down the Sprinkler of Doom in the color of the team that activated it. Once a Sprinkler of Doom is summoned it'll stay there permanently for the rest of the match. Only two Sprinklers of Doom can be summoned during a match.

Once placed, it will last until the end of the match and consistently cover a large area. The spots where it will be placed are predetermined. When a team activates the first Ultra Signal, the Sprinkler of Doom appears about halfway between the center of the stage and the spawn location of the activating team. This also applies to the other team currently behind if they also activate an Ultra Signal. However, if a team manages to activate both signals, the second Sprinkler is placed in the center of the stage.

Quotes

Did we mention the Ultra Signal? And the Sprinkler of Doom? Think of the Ultra Signal as a beacon that attacking teams try to secure. If they can hold it, it'll summon Deep Cut and the Sprinkler of Doom! Which is, well... a giant sprinkler... of doom. Linguistics doesn't approve.
