The Traditional Sandals are a type of shoes in Splatoon. They are a 2-star item produced by Famitsu and come with the main ability Run Speed Up. They can be purchased from Shrimp Kicks for 1700 cash, and are similar in design to the Traditional Headband and Traditional Apron.
Appearance
The Traditional Sandals appear to be blocky, wooden sandals with a strap on them. Inklings wear these sandals with white socks. The strap of the shoes change color to match the Ink color the player last used.
Trivia
- The Traditional Sandals, Traditional Apron, and Traditional Headband make up a unified design that was submitted to, and won, the "Ika Fashion Contest" held by Japanese magazine Famitsu. As the winner, it was made into gear for Splatoon.
