New Site Color

How do you copy and paste images from SplatNet 3?

Just asking, in case if any new content arrives. How do you do that technique of yours? KPOfficial26 (talk) 01:33, 2 March 2023 (UTC)

I open SplatNet 3 on my browser using eli's guide, inspect the content using the inspect tools of the browser, and extract the images. I made a video with a similar process from SplatNet 2. For detailed images such as 256x256 gear items or 400x400 weapon items, you'd need to face them in battle and inspect the battle results. Hope it helps. Shahar (talk) 11:12, 2 March 2023 (UTC)

Wanted to revive this to ask a quick question — I've been able to extract images from SplatNet 3 no problem and can get most images at the highest resolution, but for some reason when trying to extract weapon icons the highest I can get is 200x200 when all the other weapon icons on the wiki are at 400x400. For the flat icons you can find them in the 'weapons' section. For the 3D weapon icons you can check recent battles. For gear that is 256x256 you can check freshest fits/splatnet3 shop/recent battles. Good luck! Shahar (talk) 08:56, 3 June 2023 (UTC)

Hmmm, even when going to recent battles for 3D icons and going to the 'weapons' section for flat icons, both of those are still 200x200, but all gear is 256x256. Do you reckon this may just be an issue on my end? Xevsplatoon (talk) 17:55, 3 June 2023 (UTC)

You need to click to open the weapon screen or look in the graphql/json path for image2d/image3d. What you see is weapon2dThumbnail/weapon3dThumbnmail. Shahar (talk) 21:23, 3 June 2023 (UTC)

How do you make Infoboxes?

Do you mean how do you make your own infobox? you can look at how my user page is written in wikitext and copy to your user page and adjust accordingly. if you want to make new templates for infoboxes you can check how each infobox is written looking at the wikitext of that template and learn from it. I suggest reading a bit on wikitext,tables and div so you'd get an understanding of how to work with that environement. Shahar (talk) 13:14, 7 February 2024 (UTC)
