Adding music files to infoboxes

Hey, I saw you note that you don't know how to add music files to infoboxes in your Octavio fight page edit summary. If you're interested in learning, it looks like the problem you hit is you typed

"|{{MediaLoader|file=File:S3_DJ_Octavio_Battle.mp3"

instead of:

"|music={{MediaLoader|file=File:S3_DJ_Octavio_Battle.mp3"

the infobox wasn't given a parameter title for the information added, ("music" here), so it couldn't display what you added. Also note I'm omitting the closing brackets for readability.

For future endeavors in adding media files to infoboxes, typing just |music=[[File:Mp3_file_example.mp3]] rather than using the MediaLoader template should work. MediaLoader is used when there are a lot of music files in one page, so it doesn't make people's devices lag. If there's only a couple songs to display on a page, you don't really need it.

Also, Mission/Boss pages typically have a link to the page about the song that plays in them rather than a media player for the song, so it's not necessary to add the media file itself. Oh, thank you so much! Unexpectedly, I am much younger than you think I might be, but I get my quotes from when I play my games. I already finished 100% of the story mode, but I look up YouTube videos to try to remember where the Fuzzy Ooze was supposed to be until Agent 3 cleared them up. And yes, you can help if you want. I am up to Level 0109, but I have a project called Project: Dialogue Bot. And yes, someday I might be making a bot account to automatically add quotes when I'm inactive. About your edits to the "Names in other languages" sections.

Hello, thank you for your help and contributions! I had to undo/change some of your edits in the "Names in other languages" section of Dark Chocolate vs. Milk Chocolate vs. White Chocolate because there were a couple of things that were off and needed adjusting

For translations, I noticed you talked about using Google Translate. While in some cases, that's not a big deal, translation tools are notorious for being inaccurate, especially when the context is not there. For the Japanese translation, "Chocolate is this, after all!" comes off as a bit too literal of a translation and does not make the same amount of sense for English-speakers. However, I am not learning Japanese, so who am I to say what that really means. In this case, however, I'm going off both what native speakers have translated for the Korean/Chinese versions (since those tend to be closer to the original text) and this blog post about how the word "yappari" is used, specifically the section about emphasizing one's opinion. I feel that in cases where translation tools seem to spout nonsense, it's best to leave the section blank with a {{Translation needed}} template on top for someone else to handle. If you really want to see blank sections filled up, though, I'd recommend looking into DeepL, as that does a better job in translating Japanese, although it's still far from perfect.

Also, there is no need to translate the "vs." in every language, since social media posts from Nintendo themselves tend to use the abbreviation regardless of language. (Examples: Japanese, Traditional Chinese, Dutch, European French).

Usage of Google Translate

Hey, it looks like in this edit you removed a translation done by a user experienced in translating from Japanese in favor of a machine translation. Recently we've been trying to limit the amount of machine translations added to articles in favor of human translations, given the amount of experienced translators of many different languages that are active on the wiki. Fake Contacts images removal

Hello there. I saw that you added promo pics to the Fake Contacts page. I removed them due to being non-notable, as we would bloat the page with pics of bareheaded Inkling/Octolings otherwise. It was discussed on Inkipedia Discord here.

You might did not notice it earlier, but there's an editor note:

Due to the nature of the item, only put equipment menu screens (one per game) displaying the player character wearing the Fake Contacts.

Please do not remove

In this edit you removed the hidden explainer telling that the regions of that language share the same name. Could you please refrain from removing them? Without that explainer, people might wonder if that language hasn't been added.

I also have to asked why you changed the translation I left. Yours seems highly machine-translated. So I have to ask; are you using machine-translation? I will try, but I don't know where to rip the music files in-game. In fact, I am not a dataminer at all. Instead, Leanny on GitHub actually datamines it and I just get the files from there. Small heads up, I noticed that some of the images you upload from Twitter (here & here) aren't full-resolution. If you want to get full-resolution images from Twitter, make sure to open the image in a new tab (url should start with https://pbs.twimg.com/media/) and change the ?format=jpg&name=___ at the end of the url from anything like name=900x900 or name=large to ?format=jpg&name=orig. Eye Customization Images

I noticed that you marked my version of the Painbrush Nouveau promo for deletion. I was wondering why, because mine seemed completely fine. The video quality was good, and it wasn't too big to handle. I noticed that as you requested deletion on mine, you made your own with a different name, and they seem the exact same. The usage of hyphens in Names in other languages

Hi! I wanted to talk about the usage of hyphens in NioL sections. I noticed that you usually add them whenever something doesn't have a translation yet. While there's no manual of style for NioL section, I wanted to say that leaving the untranslated rows blank is probably better than leaving them with hyphens because:

1. That way it matches the rest of the NioLs;
2. The most important, hyphens are already used for the cases when a name or a title is already in English, and thus doesn't need to be translated. For example:

It's not that big of a deal, of course, but lately I'm working on making as many NioLs as possible to match the same style, one that was used on the wiki since the release of Splatoon 3, just so everything looks clean and consistent. (I also wish we can get a manual of style for NioL someday.) Would be nice to match the usage of hyphens across all NioL sections as well, but if you have anything against this, please let me know!
