Tomorrow's Nostalgia Today is a song performed by the Squid Sisters.
Description
Tomorrow's Nostalgia Today is an electropop song. The song was written in B minor, similar to several other songs by the group that are either in the same key or the relative major. During the second day of Splatfests, the Squid Sisters perform this song on top of two trucks in Inkopolis Plaza. The song was produced by You★Me, and the lyrics were written by Callie with the intent to convey how much better Inkopolis has become in the years since the original Splatoon.[1]
Lyrics
The booklet included with Splatune 3 gives the official lyrics for Tomorrow's Nostalgia Today. The lyrics are nonsensical; the Japanese hiragana simply give the pronunciation.

Trivia
- Tomorrow's Nostalgia Today is one of two original Squid Sisters tracks not written by their original composer Shiho Fujii, instead written by new sound team member Yumi Takahashi, along with Liquid Sunshine.
- This is alluded to in the interview with Marie, Marina, and Big Man in Splatune 3, which mentions that, in-universe, You★Me produced Tomorrow's Nostalgia Today rather than the Squid Sisters' original producer Shy-Ho-Shy.
- This is one of the only songs in the game that have separate vocal and instrumental files, along with City of Color (2023). This was the same case with the original City of Color in Splatoon.
