Soak & Stomp is a song by Anglerfish. It plays in the lobby during Splatfests in Splatoon 3. It has two different versions, with one playing in the first half of a Splatfest and the other playing in the second half.

Description

The song is a bright electronic tune, with a catchy beat that repeats itself and does not change too drastically throughout the song. The song is catchy, upbeat and relaxed. Some of the instruments are drums, a triangle, and other wooden instruments.

The second half version does not change the first half much, but a new and more brighter and electronic instrument is added. The second half version is also more energetic than the first half version because of the new instrument.

Remixes and covers

Soak & Stomp (Grand Mix)

During the Past vs. Present vs. Future Splatfest, Soak & Stomp is replaced by a remix called Soak & Stomp (Grand Mix), featuring Cory from H2Whoa. While faithful to the original arrangement, it is performed as an energetic rock song rather than a relaxed pop piece. During the first half of the Past vs. Present vs. Future Splatfest, it plays the first half of the song while on the second half of the Splatfest, it plays the second half just like the original Soak & Stomp. The second half version of Soak & Stomp (Grand Mix) has more instruments than the first half version and also the second half version is more electronic.
