Version history

Version 4.1.0 is an upcoming update to Splatoon 2 that will be released on October 3 in Japan and Europe, and October 2 in North America.

New content

The official version 4 roadmap.

Weapons

Kensa Collection #2 will be released. The set will include new sub and special weapons.

A new bomb-type sub weapon – the Fizzy Bomb – was shown.

Two new special weapons were shown. One of them is called the Booyah Bomb. They will both be included in weapon sets in version 4.1.0 or later.

Music

Four new battle music tracks have been confirmed officially.[1] The tracks are from a two new bands, SashiMori and Diss-Pair.[2]

Stages

Skipper Pavilion, the final stage to be added to the game, will be available with version 4.1.0.[3]
