I started my journey into [[Splatoon]] with the [[Splatoon 3 Splatfest World Premiere]]. I was pretty hyped over [[Splatoon 3]], despite never having played the previous games. I remember preparing myself for the upcoming shooter by watching many a lore videos (mostly by rassicas,) and I believe I ran into Squid School during this period. When the World Premiere was released, I spent most of the day, if not the whole weekend, playing it. For the two days it was active, I was a hard [[Inkbrush]] main.

A Quick Note to Start:

I have no idea how to do this sort of thing, but I like the idea of it being done. Henceforth, I will try to design an Inkipedia page. Note that this is a work in progress, and/or may be outdated. I also really like using links to other pages, so keep that in mind.

Bio

I started my journey into Splatoon with the Splatoon 3 Splatfest World Premiere. I was pretty hyped over Splatoon 3, despite never having played the previous games. I remember preparing myself for the upcoming shooter by watching many a lore videos (mostly by rassicas,) and I believe I ran into Squid School during this period. When the World Premiere was released, I spent most of the day, if not the whole weekend, playing it. For the two days it was active, I was a hard Inkbrush main.

After the game was properly released, I switched to Splat Roller. Sadly, after gaining 4 stars on the weapon, I switched to Flingza Roller due to the fact it was rated higher on tier-lists. Afterwards, I tried a couple of Shooters (I enjoyed the Gal's a bunch) until I landed onto the Tri-Stringer during Chill Season 2022. I was pretty bad, but I enjoyed the weapon.

It was around this time I started looking into Competitive. I joined my first comp team. We played in one tournament. I did cry over the team breaking up, but I appreciate its disbandment. I took a while before looking for another team. In the meanwhile I had discovered my pride and joy: the Nautilus 47. I had never mained a weapon for over 3 months, but I played Naut in 50% of my games for 6! This was only ceased by the release of my second love: Heavy Edit Splatling.

Before that Heavy Edit was announced, I had searched for my second team. We did not play in any tournaments, but I really enjoyed the people on that team. It took a while before I found the drive to join another team, but eventually did — and it succumbed to the same, sad fate. This time I wasn't going to let that ruin me though, and I started my own team on February 4th, 2024. That's when I created the server at least. It took a few days to get off the ground, but all the time I spent in school making a flyer and checking dm's paid off. The Clash at Hammerhead is our name, winning it our motto, and https://sendou.ink/t/the-clash-at-hammerhead is our sendou. The name is inspired by a fictional band in the world of Scott Pilgrim: The Clash at Demonhead. I thought an art-rock band was fitting for reference material for a competitive Splatoon team. I'll admit, I could do a better job running it, and it can be stressful, but it has been a fun ride so far.

If you're reading this out of boredom, I recommend you start with any project on your mind. You never know how far it will get you, and never know what you'll learn. I wish anyone who will spare the time to read some rando's Inkipedia page best of luck with anything you plan to try, and anything you are already trying.
