Ink Saver (Sub)

Template:Infobox ability The Ink Saver (Sub) ability decreases ink usage of your sub weapon up to 65% of its normal usage. Firefin gear has a 5x chance of rolling this ability.

In-Depth Ability

The sub weapon's revised ink usage is indicated by the red arrow icon on your Character's Ink Tank. This Ability allows you to deploy sub weapons like Splat Bombs and Burst Bombs, with greater frequency.

The Ink Saver Sub ability is great for sub weapons that consume a lot of the user's ink such as seekers or Splash Walls. The ability allows the user to deploy such sub weapons more frequently, as less ink is used per sub weapon because of Ink Saver Sub.

Trivia

• Prior to Version 2.6.0, players could only throw a single Splat Bomb or Suction Bomb, no matter how many Ink Saver (Sub) you stack to your gear, this has been changed due to the update of increasing maximum possible ink saved so you can throw 2 Splat Bombs or Suction Bombs if you stack: 1 main, 9 subs or 2 mains, 5 subs or 3 mains, 2 subs.

• The red arrow on your Ink Tank will go down when you have Ink Saver (Sub) and show you how much ink is necessary to use the Sub Weapon.
