Golden Eggs are a type of collectible in Salmon Run mode of Splatoon 2, in which collecting them is the main objective.

Golden Eggs look something like the power eggs that you collect from defeating the lesser salmonids, But they are larger and have a fish skeleton on the inside of them.
Golden Eggs spawn when a Boss Salmonid is defeated. Most Boss Salmonids drop three Golden Eggs. During the Mothership occurrence, only one is dropped; with a hiding Goldie, one golden Egg is dropped after a certain number of hits, until it is splatted and drops three, and during the Fog, a Goldie can drop 1, 5 or 10.
