Rock vs. Paper vs. Scissors is an upcoming Splatfest event in Splatoon 3. It was announced on 10 August 2022. The event will last twelve hours. The Splatfest will begin on 27 August 2022.

The event can be accessed by downloading the Splatoon 3 Splatfest World Premiere from the Nintendo eShop.

Details

The Splatfest World Premiere is a free demo that only allows players to play the Splatoon 3 tutorial, walk around Splatsville, and participate in the Splatfest. It will be playable on 25 August 2022, but players cannot participate in the Splatfest until 27 August 2022.

• Rock vs. Paper vs. Scissors as well as the Splatfests of the Splatoon 2 Splatfest World Premiere, Cake vs. Ice Cream and Rock vs. Pop are the only Splatfests to last shorter than 24 hours.
  • However, it is only the second shortest Splatfest in the series, as it will last 12 hours instead of 4 compared to the other two.
  • This is the first Splatfest that will have 3 teams instead of 2.
