Rolonium is a mechanic in Splatoon 2's single player mode Octo Canyon, as well as in Octo Expansion. It is used by Octohurlers, Agent 4, and Agent 8.

Description

Rolonium resembles 5 inflatable tubes held together in a bundle. They are tinted with the color of enemy Octarian ink.

Use

Octohurlers spit out rolonium, which can be deflected by shooting at them. Rolonium can be aimed high or low and be launched at different angles, depending on the directions that it's shot at. They are also found on the ground and used to splat any enemies in its path, but can only be used once. However, in some places there is a rolonium generator, which once the player uses one, another rolonium will appear in its place, so the player can use the rolonium as many times as they want.
