Appearance
The Traditional Sandals are a pair of geta, traditional Japanese wooden sandals. Worn underneath are white tabi, socks with the big toe separated for being worn with sandals. The thick straps on the geta change color to match that of the wearer's Ink.

The Traditional Sandals come with Lua error in Module:Ability at line 29: attempt to concatenate local 'linkText' (a nil value). as a main ability.
As a 2-star item, it also has two slots for secondary abilities. Since it is made by the [[File:Famitsu_Brand_{{{2}}}.png|24px|{{{2}}}|link=SquidForce]] [[{{{2}}}|{{{2}}}]] brand, all abilities have an equal chance of being rolled.
Trivia
- The Traditional Sandals, File:Splatoon Gear Traditional Apron White Headband.png White Headband, and File:Splatoon Gear Traditional Headband White Headband.png White Headband make up a unified design that was submitted to, and won, the "Ika Fashion Contest" held by Japanese magazine Famitsu. As the winner, it was made into gear for Splatoon.
- The wearer's heels come up slightly from the Traditional Sandals as they walk. These are the only shoes for which the model separates in this manner.
